Hi everyone and welcome to the Year of Possibilities!
It’s hard to believe another year as rushed past us. As a child, I often heard adults talking about how ‘time flies’. Now more than ever, I understand exactly what they meant. The older I get, the more I realize how precious our time is and more importantly, how we choose to use that time. This year I choose possibilities!
As we move forward in the New Year, let’s challenge ourselves to use time wisely. We all have the same number of hours in the day and each day, each hour, each moment is full of possibilities.
What we do with our time is key! It’s less about time management and more about managing us!
What is most important to us?
Have we considered our resolutions/goals and the time necessary to achieve them?
Where do our values come into play when dedicating our time?
The priorities and choices we make determine how our time is used. Stephen Covey said, “the key is not to prioritize what is on your schedule, but to schedule your priorities”.
Consider these questions when reviewing your goals each month. Do your actions align with your priorities or are you spending time on things that move you away from them? What barriers keep you away from your priorities? Are you using your time in cultivating the possibilities?
I’ll sign off today with some of my favorite quotes around possibilities.
Remember this, always find time for what is most important to you!
